Cracking is a much misunderstood
activity. Once upon a time there were nice people who wrote programs
for people to use on their computers.
This was a hobby, and something that they enjoyed. As computers became
more and more popular, these nice people
decided that they should be rewarded for their efforts. This was
considered
all well and good, and people who wanted
some software, paid a small token price for the programs. However, these
once nice people became greedy, and
decided to take advantage of their loyal customers. They decided to ask for
more
money. A lot more!
This is where cracking is born.
Crackers are people who refuse to pay
excessive sums of money for software, and see it in the public interest to
rid
people of this burden.
